FEBRUARY…..

February has had its ups and downs, but over all God is good and we’re so happy to be in March already!!! Last month I turned 28 and we did a lot of fun things as a family. We’ve been going to tons of OU Women’s Basketball games because we know many of the girls and we’ll be taking them back to Haiti this May. We went to the LA Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder Baskball game last week, which was pure heaven for Adam!! We got to sit in an amazing suite with awesome food and of course great friends.

We’ve been having great weather this month so Ellie and I have been taking every opportunity to get outside! She’s growing up so fast….and is truly such a little girl, not a baby, anymore!! She says “Pease”, “Tank You”, and “Sorry”… And is learned to enjoy sitting on the couch with mom while eating popcorn and/or girl scout cookies!!!

This month is also big for us because we’ve decided to move back to Norman. Our current home is on the marke and we’ve already found a great house near OU’s campus and is close to the church’s new offices. It has a great yard, large living spaces, and a fun neighborhood. Please pray that our home will sell so that we can move into our new home with no worries…

My Little Sleeper…

The Lord has truly blessed me with an amazing sleeper….I’d be crazy to think this is how all my babies will be but for the time being I’m taking full advantage. Ellie slept through the night at 6 weeks and always had her milk in the morning and went right back to sleep until 9, 10, or 11am!! And she always took two naps a day!!

While I worked part time this was a great way to get as much sleep as possible and now it’s just a great way to get stuff done in the morning!! I have a couple cute pics of Ellie snoozing so I thought I’d share my blessed life with a good sleeping baby via photos!!

As you can see she loves sleeping in others arms: Unlce Aaron, Papa, Daddy, and mine but she will always fall asleep in her carseat, swing, or other moving object…but don’t try and take a pic while she’s going to sleep because she’ll give you ‘the look’!

Sweet Dreams…..

Christmas 2010

This Christmas, as always, we traveled to Colordao on Christmas Day. We spent all last week with my family in Keystone and had a blast!! On Christmas night we took a sleigh ride through the mountains up to a cabin for a yummy dinner…We skied and snowboarded four days and always ended the afternoon with a dip in the hot tub!

Adam and I enjoyed a couple massage one afternoon while Ellie joined the Barnholt ranking as a skier! You wouldn’t believe what a refridgerator looks like when you’re feeding 7 adults and 1 kid for a week!! We had some amazing meals at the condo and enjoyed some meals out like mexician and ‘grill your own’ steaks at The Mint on New Years Eve.

The boys turned the garage into a ‘man cave’ by adding a ping pong table to the house! The Wii was also a joy to play with the family especially “Just Dance 2″….

Ellie had a blessed Christmas with both grandparents…PaPa, BG, Pop-Pop, and Nonna. She got some adorable gifts and we’re so honored to have such a great family that love us and love Jesus!! Thank you Lord for such a great holiday season!!

Here are some pics and I’ll post more later too!!

Tis the Season….

We’ve had four great Christmas parties already this year!! The Pastors Christmas party for Journey at a great Italian resturant in Norman, College/Student Staff Journey Christmas party at the Mannin’s, our Small Group Christmas party, and the Staff Kids Christmas Party!! Here are some pics from our Christmas parties!

Recent Mobile Pics!!!

Here are some recent pictures from my cell phone that most people don’t get to see. We’ve been going to tons of OU Basketball games. Ellie was a worship intern, jk, on the Journey stage. Daddy and Ellie love reading books and it’s time for Christmas…Ellie got a new pink tree!! We had a Thanksgiving feast at Great Granny’s and Ellie requested UGGS boots for Christmas by trying on mine. Mommy got an awesome new Keurig coffee maker on Black Friday. And Ellie revealed her booty next to the bath tub! We really enjoyed the OU Football games this year as well as finishing some crafts for Ellie’s room. The rest are self explanatory except Ellie sleeping on my chest…it doesn’t happen too often so it’s a special pic!!
