I’m so crafty!! Not!! But I try!!

Ellie Marie
Having four generations alive at one time is so special!! So, I thought up this crazy craft idea using all four generations (Gi Gi Pat, Nonna, Me “Mom”, and Ellie) hand prints. My grandma, mom, and I all put our prints on this pink canvas I painted. Then I tried to make them look like butterflies… poor Ellie she’s probably going to hate butterflies once she can see her room!

I love you grandma and mom!! Hope you like the finished product!!

Granpa and Grandma Names!!

So, it’s official!! Our childs grandparents have decided what names they want to go by!

Because Adam’s parents will be fourth time grandparents when our child is born they already had established grandparent names, BG: Debbie and PaPa: Mike.  BG stands for “Beautiful Grandmother”.

My parents will be first timers and have chosen Nonna: Donna and Pop-Pop: Brandon.  Nonna is “Grandmother” in Italian and Pop-Pop was what we called my dads father.

So exciting!! I can’t wait to hear my child call them by their names for the first time!!

It’s time for a new car!!!

So, I love my “old faithful” Nissan Altimu but it’s about time to upgrade!  I’m in love with the GMC Acadia which is a mini SUV with three rows!  It’s like having a van, but NOT having a van!

This new purchase will be a Birthday/Valentine’s gift but I want to make sure I’m getting the best car possible.  We’re going to look Saturday so please let me know if you have any input or suggestions.

We’ll be first time buyers! Both Adam and I have our cars from high school, THANKS MOM AND DAD!!

Our Parent’s Christmas Surprise!

baby-017We told Adam’s parents on Christmas Eve at the Journey Church Christmas service.  We gave them each a cross, one was pink and the other blue.  And we gave both our parents a baby outfit that said “Who needs Santa when you have Grandparents“.

We told my parents about our new bundle of joy on Christmas Day!  We gave my mom two baby booties, one pink and one blue,  for the Christmas tree and we bought my Dad a bottle of wine called “Grandfather Port” for his new wine cellar.baby-020
