Hello Adam!!

Adam is currently in the Philippines!  I already miss him so much but I’m so proud of him and all the work he does overseas.  Today I had a check up at the doctor and got a couple more ultrasound photos.  Ellie is already very photogenic even though she’s only 1/2 a pound!!  The first picture is just for you Adam, she wanted to wave “hello” to you from across the world!!

I also got a good one of her profile, she’s already modeling in the womb!

We miss you Adam and can’t wait to greet you back in the states next Friday.  Please pray for Adam and our friend Mark this week as they are ministering to hundreds of children working in sweat shops and also preaching in churches!!

I can finally feel her moving!!

Last Thursday I finally felt Ellie move!! I’ve been waiting so long and have been getting slightly frustrated at the nurse when she asks me at each appointment if I’ve felt the baby move and I have to say “no”.  Ever since Thursday I’ve felt Ellie move all day everyday!!

Adam’s slightly jealous because I tell him when she’s moving and he can’t feel her yet so it makes him a little sad.  Very soon he’ll be able to feel her too and I can’t wait for that day!!

Before Adam runs off to another mission trip we have another 3-D ultrasound appointment this Tuesday!! This will be Adam’s first time to see her on an ultrasound since 11 weeks ago!!

We’ll have some cute new pics to post soon.

Our little Lime!

Today marks 10 weeks!  Our baby is now the size of a lime!  So cute……. We have another appointment next Monday but will most likely only get to hear the heartbeat,  no ultrasound.  However this will be the first time Adam hears the heart beat because our 3 day ice storm prevented him from attending the 9 week ultrasound.

Only 2 more weeks till our 3 month mark and we’ll post another Baby Bump Alert photo!! We love you all and can’t wait for you to meet our baby this summer!

I was feeling GREAT….

Until yesterday I had no morning sickness!  I thought I might be one of the lucky ones who never get sick, haha!  I haven’t thrown up but I sure have started feeling different: nausea, dizziness, and very tired.  I went to bed at 9:30pm Tuesday and didn’t get up till 8am, 10 1/2 hours of sleep!! WOW, I’m planning on taking full advantage of this sleep while I can……

It’s been interesting to see how dependent my body is on food. Every time I feel sick guess what I do? EAT!! It’s pretty funny how food can solve almost all the symptoms; however I can see now why so many pregnant women gain some “extra weight” during pregnancy!

Don’t worry though, I’ve been eating pretty healthy and I’ve been swimming and working out!  I hope to continue this pattern throughout my pregnancy and hopefully it will help me have a smooth labor?!

THINGS TO COME:  Soon I’ll be posting a Belly Bump Alert…..
