Here are some recent pictures from my cell phone that most people don’t get to see. We’ve been going to tons of OU Basketball games. Ellie was a worship intern, jk, on the Journey stage. Daddy and Ellie love reading books and it’s time for Christmas…Ellie got a new pink tree!! We had a Thanksgiving feast at Great Granny’s and Ellie requested UGGS boots for Christmas by trying on mine. Mommy got an awesome new Keurig coffee maker on Black Friday. And Ellie revealed her booty next to the bath tub! We really enjoyed the OU Football games this year as well as finishing some crafts for Ellie’s room. The rest are self explanatory except Ellie sleeping on my chest…it doesn’t happen too often so it’s a special pic!!

My Valentine’s
This Valentine’s was the best one Adam and I have ever had!! Not only have Adam and I found the ONE we’ve started a family and see the fruits of our love! Adam got Ellie and I roses this Valentine’s and my eyes were truly open to the love a daughter and father have for each other. The first man I loved was my dad and Ellie’s first will be Adam and it makes me so happy to see the way he spoils and cherishes her. Here are some pics of all he did for us!!
Even the dogs, Molly and Lily, got some valentine’s gifts. I got roses for my birthday and v-day. Ellie got her first rose and Molly and Lily got bacon strips and chew toys! Us girls are so lucky to have Adam!!

Over the weekend Ellie was getting so close to rolling from back to tummy and Sunday night while Adam was at the Thunder game with his dad she did it!! I hate when she does something but Adam misses it….luckily she has now been rolling all over the place so he was able to see it when he got home. It’s still weird to turn the corn and see her on her tummy when I know I put her down on her back. YEAH!!!!!
January Fun
Ellie and Addi are 5 weeks apart. They had fun playing on the floor together….they like holding hands and just touching one another. Ellie’s really close to rolling from back to tummy. We’re anticipating the day it happens!!
Ellie loves her daddy!! And she loves Molly and Lily too. She frequently laughs and smiles at the dogs when they run by her. Dad and Ellie have starting playing fetch with Molly and Ellie really enjoys it when Molly bring the toy back….she laughs out loud!! Too cute!!
Ellie still loves her baths and I sure love to give them to her. I spiked her hair the other day and realized just how long it really is. But I just can’t cut it yet, she’s a girl, and I want to be able to put her hair in pig tails and don’t plan on ever giving her bangs. I had them and got the “Dumb and Dumber” haircut before and it was traumatizing!!

Swimming!!
If you don’t already know I was a swimmer and still love it!! Therefore, I really hope Ellie loves the water too. This weekend we were at the Student Journey Winter Camp in Oklahoma City. This was our first time staying in a hotel as a family!! During free time yesterday we thought we’d take advantage of the pool and (warm) tub….
Ellie was the only girl allowed to wear a bikini…..that’s why I have a t-shirt on over my suit. Modesty is important at youth camps!!

EATING!!!
So, now that Ellie’s officially four months old she can eat rice ceral. On December 27th she had her first experience with a spoon and somewhat solid food!! It wasn’t the best experience to say the least….I had no idea she won’t like it and cry the whole first and second day, but we’ve managed to get past that point now! She’s been eating rice ceral once a day for one week now and is starting to enjoy it….kinda. She doesn’t get excited or anything but she is eating all the food I make!! Enjoy the messy pics!!
Oh yeah, and she likes to hold the spoon and chew on it like everything else that comes near her mouth!!!

So, we’re currently “Snowed In”. What to do??? I decided to teach Ellie to swim!! Okay, she floated with my help but doesn’t she look cute in her bakini!!
