29 Weeks and 2 Days!! This ultrasound was so amazing!! Adam and I got to see her face, organs, and cord in detail. They looked at her heart (all four chambers), cord (three vains), and kidneys….. she checked out perfect!!
Her nose was a little squashed because she’s right up against the placenta and she had her little hands in her face but she seems very comfy in there!!!
Praise God only 9 weeks and 5 days (max) until we meet little Ellie Marie Barnett!!! P.S.- that discomfort I have when I sit to long under my ribs is her BUTT!! Thanks Ellie!!

I love this one!! In the box you can see her two little feet!! They’re pointed to the right and overlapped. Looks like 10 toes.

She reveals all!! The arrow is pointing between the legs at her “Girl Part”. Two different techs, each with 25 years of experience, and one doctor confirmed she is infact a girl.

IT’S A GIRL!!
On my girls trip to St. Louis this week my family friend, Dr. DeRosa, was able to get me in for two ultrasounds!! I hadn’t seen “it’s” little body since late January and I was not only blessed to see “her” body, but her face, arms, legs, and “girl part”!!
Monday my mom and I got a stack of pictures and our first look at HER!! We both CRIED when we heard it was a girl!! On Wednesday our ultrasound tech was once again able to confirm her gender and get us some great 3-D pictures!! Sadly, Adam was not able to come to St. Louis because he’s in Nicaragua, but I did get to talk to him over the phone and tell him in Spanish that we’re having a “Nina”!!
Adam will be home Saturday when I’ll show him pictures of his daughter and on March 31st he’ll get to see her on an ultrasound I scheduled here in Moore, Oklahoma.

9 Week Ultrasound!
Today we had our 9 week ultrasound!! It was amazing!! So many great things happened. Our baby actually looks like a baby now! It’s the size of a grape and the arms are visible in the picture. It’s heartbeat was 174 beats per minute. I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time which was amazing!! And……. the baby moved!! On the ultrasound screen we saw the baby move the right side of it’s little body. It was kind of like a wave! My doctor said everything looks good so we’re on track for a health baby!

A couple days before Christmas Adam and I found out we’re going to be parents!! I was able to surprise him with the news after work one day. He couldn’t be more thrilled about this new blessing in our lives. I, of course, can’t wait to be a mother and fulfill my dreams of having a family.
On Christmas Day we were able to share our great news with our families, what a great Christmas present! My brothers, of course, will be first time Uncles and my parents, first time Grandparents! This will be Adam’s family’s fourth grandchild, as Stephanie and Andy’s third boy is due in May.
Last week we had our first ultrasound. We saw our little tadpole, as I’m calling it, and it’s 100 heart beats per minute. Here’s our first glimpse of our child.
