13 weeks and counting…

This pregnancy has already been quite dramatic but, as always, it is teaching us to trust the Lord! At 8 weeks I had some pretty bad cramps and went in to my doctor the next morning to see if everything was okay…And of course it was!! Then last week at 12 weeks I had some bleeding. I never experienced this with Ellie so Adam and I were pretty freaked out. So, we went to the ER since it was after hours. After refusing two different pregnancy tests they agreed to just bring in the ultrasound machine and check for the heartbeat….

In that bittersweet moment all our fears were washed away when we saw our little babies 170 beats per minute heart rate! He/she was sleeping so the doctor decided to wake our little human up my shaking my belly. It was so crazy because we’ve seen the baby a couple times before and it was a tadpole or gummybear but at 12 weeks it looks like a baby human!! Anyway, after a little shaking our baby woke up and rubbed it’s eyes…. AMAZING!! It moved around a little more and the doctor was satisfied with his findings in my belly =)

Here’s the view of my bump at 13 weeks…it’s bigger then it was with Ellie at this point but I weigh less so I guess it balances out… 😉

Andrea and Adam at 9 months/36 weeks!!

32 Weeks/8 Months

We’re officially 7 weeks from my induction date of August 27th!! If you don’t already know my brother Kyle is getting married September 6th in Chicago and Adam is performing the wedding so we’ve booked our flights with American, the only airline you can take a baby less then 14 days old on!! Eeeks!!
This week I’m officially “uncomfortable”!! Uncomfortable in bed, when I sit too long, or when I try and pick something up off the floor =) I moaned all evening in bed with Adam because it was so uncomfortable to move from one position to the other, especially while she’s moving around!!
We had an appointment with my doctor yesterday and Ellie’s heart rate was 155 per minute. However when my doctor measured my uterus she said it was measuring a little small (two weeks behind). So, she scheduled me for an ultrasound tomorrow just to make sure Ellie’s growing appropriately and that my uterus is functioning properly!!
So, please pray for us tomorrow that everything will be great and that we have no complications!! Thanks, Baby Shower #3 pictures will be posted this weekend!! Can’t wait!!

7 Months/28 Weeks!!

Ellie just got HUGE this month!!!

6 months/ 24 weeks!!

Ellie is about 1 lb. 4 oz. and 12 inches long!! She’s a very active little baby. She wakes me up sometime in the morning to let me know it’s time to eat and keeps me up some nights because she thinks it’s time to play. She doesn’t realize I didn’t nap all day like she did!

I feel so blessed to have this little child of God living in me and I’m cherishing every moment with her in my belly!! Praise God, He alone is good!

Ellie’s been cookin for 5 months now!!

I don’t always look this unhappy, I just never know if I should smile or not during these “profile pictures”.  Plus it’s all about Ellie anyway, she almost has more clothes and shoes then I do!!

Ellie Marie’s been in the oven for 20 weeks!! I’m officially half way through pregnancy.

Baby Bump 3 Months 1 Day!

 

I guess you could say it’s grown!! It’s still pretty small but it’s finally baby!  Our babies about 2.5 inches long which, in fruit terms, is the size of a plum and my uterus is the size of a grapefruit.  So, that’s what my bumps made up of these days, besides food of course.

Baby Bump at 2 months and 2 days!

Okay so there’s not much to see, but it is fun to start the baby belly process!  This picture was taken at 8 weeks and 2 days.  Our baby is the size of a blackberry, about 1 inch long, and is actually starting to resemble a human.

Things to be looking for:

1. Our next ultrasound is January 26th, so we’ll be posting a new photo soon!

2. We’re getting a new car next month so we’ll be posting our options and would love some input.

3. I’ll be posting how we surprised the family over Christmas!
