A couple days before Christmas Adam and I found out we’re going to be parents!! I was able to surprise him with the news after work one day. He couldn’t be more thrilled about this new blessing in our lives. I, of course, can’t wait to be a mother and fulfill my dreams of having a family.
On Christmas Day we were able to share our great news with our families, what a great Christmas present! My brothers, of course, will be first time Uncles and my parents, first time Grandparents! This will be Adam’s family’s fourth grandchild, as Stephanie and Andy’s third boy is due in May.
Last week we had our first ultrasound. We saw our little tadpole, as I’m calling it, and it’s 100 heart beats per minute. Here’s our first glimpse of our child.

This is the most beautiful site for a BG’s eyes! I love this little grandbaby more than words can tell. May God bless him/her and mommy & daddy too as they are about to experience the MOST beautiful time of their lives. I can’t wait to meet my little grandchild! Love, BG
